The research points out several areas in need of further investigation that include: the expansion and support of flexible work arrangements among U.S. employers; changes in pension laws and other public policies that can enable companies to better retain older workers; and the education, training, and experience necessary to change the attitudes and work conditions that can lead to better supporting and accommodating the talent that exists among workers of all ages, both those with and without disabilities.
