In accordance with P.L. 2021, Chapter 394, which establishes annual data collections and reports on the teacher workforce within New Jersey, the New Jersey Department of Education is working in partnership with the Heldrich Center and the New Jersey Statewide Data System to identify the specific data elements needed to comply with the research and reporting requirements outlined in the legislation. In February 2024, the Heldrich Center produced the first report in this series.
