Biography

Benjamin Shen is the Systems Administrator at the Heldrich Center and is responsible for maintaining, automating, and optimizing the data ingestion processes for the New Jersey Statewide Data System (NJSDS). He is also responsible for extending NJSDS to provide a user-friendly means of accessing de-identified data while maintaining data security. In addition, he has extensive experience in supporting large data environments comprised of disparate sets of data. He is a member of Rutgers University's graduation class of 1993 with degrees in Computer Science and Psychology.
