Libraries play a critical role in workforce development. They provide welcoming community spaces with computers and Internet access, as well as an array of career services for those seeking a new job or looking to learn a new skill. Stephanie Walsh, Ph.D., a Research Project Manager at the Heldrich Center, was recently interviewed for an NPR Marketplace story titled “How Public Libraries Help People Find Jobs” where she discussed the center’s research on libraries and career services.
