Mikie Sherrill, Governor-Elect of the State of New Jersey, has appointed Carl Van Horn, Ph.D., to serve as Co-Chair of her transition’s Jobs and Prosperity Committee.  In addition, Heldrich Center National Advisory Board member Charles Wowkanech has been appointed as a member of the same committee. Dr. Van Horn shared, “This is a great opportunity to share recommendations with the new administration and contribute to developing policies and programs to serve the residents of our state.”

In addition to serving as Director of the Heldrich Center, Dr. Van Horn is a Distinguished Professor at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Mr. Wowkanech is President of the New Jersey State AFL-CIO.
