The Heldrich Center is partnering with the New Jersey Governor’s Office and working with the New Jersey Innovation Authority, Civil Service Commission, and Office of Information Technology to design, field, and analyze an online non-probability-based survey of the New Jersey state workforce.  The survey was fielded May 12 to 26, 2026 in English using Qualtrics to employees of 87 New Jersey executive branch agencies and authorities. The overall goal of the survey is to assess job satisfaction and experiences among New Jersey’s state employees.  The survey findings will provide state leaders with actionable insights to build a more motivated, resilient, and high-performing workforce that can improve the development and delivery of programs, benefits, and services to residents and businesses across the Garden State.
