Project

Labor Market Outcomes of Rutgers University Graduates

May 2012

In 2012, the Heldrich Center conducted a pilot study of the labor market outcomes of Rutgers–New Brunswick campus graduates. The center used state Unemployment Insurance wage record data to calculate the percentage of May 2010 Rutgers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral graduates who were employed in New Jersey after graduation; how much they earned in New Jersey in their first two years after graduation; and the percentage who were able to maintain employment over time. The project deliverable was a report that detailed outcomes and outcomes for various subgroups of graduates.
