The Heldrich Center is continuing to assist Middlesex County in implementing and assessing the RWJ Health Workforce Partnership Initiative, a multi-stakeholder initiative designed to strengthen the region’s healthcare talent pipeline while advancing equity, economic opportunity, and innovation. This study builds on the Heldrich Center’s engagement with Middlesex County since 2023 and has three core components: full-scope project management and coordination, strategic consultation and data‑driven decision support, and framework and documentation development. Through this engagement, the Heldrich Center is directly supporting Middlesex County’s strategic goals around workforce innovation, health system resilience, and equitable economic development. The second phase of the Middlesex County study began in fall 2025 and will conclude in fall 2028.
