Students are pursuing their college education with unmet basic needs, disrupting their college attainment and completion. The Heldrich Center is conducting a rapid landscape assessment of the basic needs services available at each of New Jersey’s community colleges, how they structure the services within their institutions, and how institutions currently define and measure success in these efforts. The project will document existing service models, measurement practices, and areas of alignment or variation across institutions, with the goal of informing future coordination and funding opportunities.
