In 2013, the Heldrich Center worked closely with the Bloustein School’s Department of Public Health to help design a curriculum for an undergraduate certificate program in health disparities. The undergraduate certificate program, the first of its kind, is intended to prepare future health care and public health workers for a more culturally and ethnically diverse patient population and the challenges this presents to delivering effective health care.
