Visiting Faculty Fellow

Dr. Anton D. House obtained a Doctorate of Philosophy in U.S. History from Howard University in 2019. He also holds an M.A. in U.S. History from Howard University and a B.A. in History from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Dr. House’s research centers on late nineteenth and early twentieth century U.S. History. Among his research areas of interest are the Black Economy, Racial Uplift and New Negro Movements, African American Benevolent, Fraternal, and Mutual Aid Societies, migration, and urbanization. He is also a Visiting Faculty Fellow at the Heldrich Center.
