William M. Rodgers III Appointed to Commission to Advise on Restart and Recovery of NJ Economy

Governor Phil Murphy has appointed Dr. William M. Rodgers III to a new commission charged with advising the administration on the timing and preparation for the state’s recovery from the COVID-19 shutdown.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has appointed Dr. William M. Rodgers III to a new commission charged with advising the Governor’s administration on the timing and preparation for the state’s recovery from the COVID-19 shutdown. Dr. Rodgers is Professor of Public Policy at the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and Chief Economist at the Heldrich Center, both at Rutgers University.

The commission will address questions such as the restart of society and the economy in New Jersey, as well as issues related to public health, workforce development, and transportation. Read more about the commission.
