Evaluation of Newark Workforce Investment Board Workforce Innovation Fund (WIF)

The Heldrich Center is currently evaluating a federally funded Workforce Innovations Grant that was awarded to the Newark Workforce Investment Board (NWIB) with the purpose of enhancing accountability and performance management in its workforce system in an effort to improve employment outcomes for Newark job seekers. The Center, from 2012 to 2016, is conducting a process evaluation of the implementation of project services, as well as an outcomes analysis with a focus on the pay-for-performance system for Newark One-Stop Career Center managers.
