Diversity, Inclusion, and Sustainability
Robert L. Lattimer is a non-resident scholar for diversity studies at the Heldrich Center, where he will publish and lecture on the topic of diversity in the global workforce and within society.
Robert is the published author of more than 23 articles and several book chapters that address diversity issues in the workforce and within global society. He also lectures on public policy case studies, and taught the course “Global Poverty” at the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy Rutgers. He also serves as a visiting professor at a number of highly ranked global universities.
Robert has shaped public policy on a number of occasions. For example, the Supreme Court of the United States in the Lee Bollinger, University of Michigan case, cited his diversity research as one of the completing factors by five of the justices in the Court’s five to four decision affirming diversity in higher education; Robert is listed as an authority of the Court pertaining to the case.
Robert’s most recent international travels included France, Australia, Ireland, India, Sri Lanka, Republic of South Africa, Namibia, Canada, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom; where he was a visiting professor, lecturer, and keynote speaker, and examined the economic and management processes.
Currently, Robert is completing a book chapter, entitled the “Promise of Diversity Management,” at the request of professor Jean-Francois Chanlat, at the University of Paris, Dauphine. He is also writing a book entitled, The Promise of Diversity: Values for the 21st Century Global Society.
